Sarah Ama Getor ESQ

Meet Sarah, an established lawyer at Awoonor Law Consultancy. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

She obtained a Qualifying Certificate in law from the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies from the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Ghana Business School. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.

Currently, her areas of interest include but are not limited to Family Law, Land Law, Company and Commercial Practice, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Property & Real Estate Law.

Prior to joining Awoonor Law Consultancy, Sarah did her pupillage with MacCarthy and Associates. She also interned with the Prosecutions Division in the Office of the Attorney General, Dubik & Associates and the Adentan District Court. Sarah worked with the Human Resources Department of Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited.

Sarah is very interested in social issues and believes every individual must have access to justice. She is currently working on a case Pro-Bono with her senior. Her hobbies include sight-seeing, cooking and watching movies.
